My journey started back in 2004 when I first moved to Dunedin. I was 20 yrs. old. Haka, kapahaka, te reo māori and anything else "Māori" was always around me growing up, it was at my fingertips and there for the taking. Apart from the odd whānau waiata, school haka and short one liner māori phrases, I never really took to actively pursuing and learning "Māori". However, when I moved to Dunedin everything for me changed...
